CPL - Commercial Pilot's Licence
If you wish to fly as a professional pilot, then the Commercial Helicopter Pilot Licence will enable you to receive payment for your expertise. Obtaining a helicopter commercial pilot licence will provide continual stimulation and open up a new era for you.
Once you have successfully obtained your PPL(H) licence, your commercial training course can begin. You will build on the skills mastered to date and then be introduced to such things as under-slung load training. Your hovering skills will improve as a result and you will understand the importance of power management. Advanced navigation exercises and mountainous terrain flying will all be covered in depth, and you will be well on your way to obtaining your commercial pilot licence and the start of a new career.
On average, a Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) will take up to one year to complete (including the PPL-H), but a specific shorter or longer programme can be designed for you, depending on your commitment and budget.
